Seven Springs Lodge
Tuscumbia, AL

Sept. 23-26, 2010

Back Home

We are so glad to be back at 7 springs for our first fall ride. As you know we always have great rides at 7 Springs and we fill up fast. If you plan to attend 7 Springs and want electricity or stalls, please make your reservations early. If you wish to park in primitive and picket, we have plenty of primitive parking. As I am writing this, we have over 40 electrics reserved and over 80 stalls rented. As I said, we have great rides at 7 Springs and those riders who have been to our rides here make reservations for the next ride. For those who haven’t ridden with ATRA or at 7 Springs, this would be a good ride to attend. We are a family oriented group, with riders from 16 states that are very friendly and nice people.

The campground and shower house is very nice and very clean but the riding at 7 Springs is something you must see. There is over 30,000 acres of land to ride. Danny and the Foster family has has over 60 electric and water sites, 12 sites with sewage, 2 silo’s to rent (sleeps 6-8 people), swimming pool, pavilion, nice shower house, over 130 stalls, a lake for fishing and did I mention an old saloon built in one of the Indian shelters next to the lodge. People have come from all over to see the saloon and a music video was filmed there recently. As I said the campground is nice but wait until you ride 7 springs. There are waterfalls, streams, caves, Indian shelters, hardwoods, rock formations, and bald knob (you can see 30 miles from there). The riding here is mountain riding but there is plenty of riding for everybody here (the beginner or expert). I recommend your horses should be shod. We will have hay, bedding and a farrier on the ride.

Your ride fee as always provides you with (2) free meals, 4 guided rides, 2 dances, prizes, awards, and as always we give away our ATRA saddle. We do sell meal tickets for $30.00 that will provide you with 6 meals plus your (2) free meals. You can buy meals separately or bring your own food. We are a family organization with lots of great friendly people, so if you haven’t seen or ridden with ATRA don’t miss this ride. We always fill up fast on this ride so make your reservations early. To be a member of ATRA all you have to do is come to one of our rides.

Neg. coggins are required. There is a $35.00 non-refundable deposit required to guarantee your electric site. There is a $100.00 non-refundable deposit required for silo rentals. If you are unable to attend after paying a deposit we will roll it over to another ride during the same calendar year. If you don’t send a deposit it is first come first serve. For more Info call Kenney Gladden at 256-390-6366 or visit www.americastrailride.org .

If you would like to pre-register, reservations must be made through ATRA. Send deposits to Kenney Gladden, P.O. Box 1373 Phil., Ms. 39350. Kenney Gladden (256) 390-6366.
