| Our regulars know our March ride is usually at 7 Springs, but this year we are changing our schedule; hopefully making it easy and more convenient for our loyal riders to travel. We have a lot of riders from Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia, Florida and Mississippi. We feel this location being close to Birmingham and easily accessible from Interstate 65 will help with the high fuel price cost. Also, more importantly, this is a very beautiful place. We had a great ride here last year and we had some great comments about the Pumpkin Patch. Ricky has put in 85 electrics, built more paddocks close to your camp sites and closed in his barn for our dances. The Whittemore Family has done a lot of work since our last ride. They have also put in new trails and, have built a new cabin. For those of you that haven't ridden here you will be impressed with the caves, canyons, bluffs, streams, and beautiful hardwood forest you will see here. Ricky has worked hard to make his camp site more convenient with 50 stalls close to your camp site, 31 covered stalls, new bath house, and a very nice closed in barn for our dances, bingo and church service on Sunday. We will have concessions available the whole ride. We will serve a free lunch on Saturday and a free all you can eat supper Saturday night. We will have Bingo Thursday, dances Friday and Saturday, and church Sunday. We will give a saddle, hats, t-shirts, awards, horse feed and horse tack away. Remember, ATRA rides are family oriented and all you have to do to be a member is come to one of our rides. There is a $25.00 deposit to guarantee you an electric site, but you are also welcome to come without a deposit. We usually have an extra electric available or you can also park in primitive. To guarantee your electric and stalls, you can make reservations with Kenney Gladden at 256-390-6366. Send deposits to Kenney Gladden - P.O. Box 1373 - Phila., MS 39350. 4-day ride fee $54.00 or 3-day weekend ride fee $45.99 | |||
